Might of. I can't remember.

When we were talking about the Tromasterpieces a couple of months ago, I mentioned that they wanted to release the original 3 hour version of War as a Masterpiece collection. But I have no idea if they would ever be able to do it.

As Justin said, it's most likely gone for good.

But that does make me think more about the American Nightmares version of Combat Shock, will we be getting that movie in some bootleg format? And how is the movie without all the Vietnam shots produced by Herz and Kaufman? Anyone seen it? How does the movie begin?

Post Re: Toxic Avenger II DVD question
It'll probably be from an old video master or something. I searched for one of those bootlegs for years, but didn't track one down until recently. Those copies were asking for pretty high prices, so I just decided to wait (especially since Buddy G's short films will be on the DVD as well).

According to the commentary, the movie pretty much played the same after the opening credits (which were originally just white text on a black background). I know there's some other Vietnam footage later on and I think there was other material missing from the Troma release. In fact, every release so far has been different in some way or another (original VHS was the R-rated cut, Troma VHS was uncut, Troma DVD was cut but not the R-rated version), so who knows?
