 Anything new?
I'm gonna ask a question that has likely been asked here too many times, but, what are the chances of Troma making a Toxie 5?

 Re: Anything new?
It seems probable. Keep in mind, 'Poultrygeist' took a number of years and personal funding from Lloyd to get up off the ground, and even then there seemed to be doubts about whether Troma would continue (I recall the 'Fangoria' cover on 'P-Geist' frequently mentioning it could be the "last" Troma film). It really all depends on whether or not 'Poultrygeist' will get its money back and extra, thus enabling Troma to proceed into their next movie.
A magazine article last year mentioned that Michael Herz brought up the possibility of a 'Toxie V', and there have been rumors that the word 'remake' is flying around: Lloyd briefly hints at it in "DYODM!", and I've heard there is an actual proposal script....
Ultimately, time - and money - will tell.

 Re: Anything new?
A while ago in Fango Lloyd was talking a lot about Toxic Avenger 5. It seems hopeful, but doubtful it would happen for a few years, even on Lloyd's Myspace he was asking people what they would want to see in a Toxic Avenger 5. Hell, I'd donate $20 to see a new Toxic Avenger movie, I think a lot of fans would. I'd do the same thing for a new Phantasm

That sounds ominous, as if the rights had been bought out by another company... I don't want to see Brett Ratner's "The Toxic Avenger" at a theatre near me! Oh, well. Perhaps this will open the doors for "Nuke 'em High University"....or would that be "Nuke 'em University"?

I don't want to see a remake of The Toxic Avenger either. I'd love a Class of Nuke Em High Sequel!

 Re: Anything new?
Maybe Troma could start a donation through paypal thing for Toxie 5, like they do with TromaDance. I don't know if that would work, but it's just an idea.

 Re: Anything new?
When I talked to Michael Herz during my last day of working at Troma, he told me that "Toxie 5 is happening", I think it might actually be the next film they make.
But who knows how long that will take.

But who knows how long that will take. Thanks, man. Great news. Just hope it doesn't fall through.

 Re: Anything new?
If this flick is made, I would love to come up to be an extra. I work at a bakery, and take enough shit there. After watching all the behind the scenes of Troma movies, I really don't think I would be able to handle all the pressure, and what not.

 Re: Anything new?
Lloyd's FaceBook made a message about "working on Toxie 5", but I'm not holding my breath for at least a full year or two.
I've experienced an internship, two TromaDances, volunteered at two Comic-Cons and have had 12+ years collecting Troma knowledge.....if I don't get a PA job on 'Toxie 5', I'll no longer have a reason to live.

 Re: Anything new?
I dream of getting a PA job on Toxic Avenger 5. I want to apply for an internship at Troma this summer as well.
