I'm a big fan of 'Cry Uncle', however I also feel that the existing DVD release is pretty darn good. The interview featurettes are cool and the commentary with Allen Garfield is hilarious! I believe it's OOP.

True. My friend owns it so I still have to buy a copy for myself.

 Re: Other Tromasterpieces
'Killer Condom' (the comic) finally received an English translation and American distribution a few weeks ago...seems like an ideal time to release a remastered DVD. It's probably not likely...I've heard Ralf König, the author of the comic, was very unhappy with the film, but I don't know if that's true. I got to talk with the guy who translates his comics when I was at Comic-Con, but I was hesitant to bring up the film adaptation. The least I expect is a better quality transfer of the film, perhaps with subtitles that don't suck.

Bjarni wrote: The subtitles suck? I just bought the DVD :C Well, it's just white text awkwardly superimposed into the print itself...occasionally they get a bit hard to read. There's also a translation issue: I know dick about the German language, but there are times when I could tell some of the subtitles weren't full or literal translations. There's also a brief period in the middle of the film where they inexplicably stop and about 3-4 lines of dialogue go un-translated. They're not *horrible*...you can still watch and enjoy the film with them, it's just that it could be done much, much better. It's still my favorite Troma flick.

 TROMASTERPIECE 6
Predictions to the next chapter in the Tromasterpiece saga.
WHEN NATURE CALLS I find this to be a very funny movie. With the Mother's Day remake on the way, I think it's about time to really let Charles Kaufman shine a new. Maybe two discs with interviews with the cast? A segment on the making of, talking more in detail on the case they had to go through with the original poster art?
GIRL SCHOOL SCREAMERS I think this is a good film. The DVD is R-Rated with a lot of stuff cut out. Seeing that Lloyd and Michael are at least credited as producers, I wouldn't mind seeing this film given great justice, released uncut with special features on the making of and an audio commentary?
FROSTBITER: WRATH OF THE WENDIGO A crazy, Evil Dead 2 like film with a bunch of funny and gory moments. If anything should be looked as a Lost Troma classic, this is one of them. Wouldn't mind seeing a nice tribute to Ron Asheton as well as some interviews and more special features. And maybe a commentary track? It's all possible.
MONSTER IN THE CLOSET Maybe Troma could luck out and get Fergie and Paul Walker to talk about their experiences on the making of Monster in the Closet?
CINDERELLA 2000 This is a film that hasn't been released in a long time. I saw it while Interning at the Troma offices and loved it. Al Adamson directed it and it's a cult classic. If Troma could find a widescreen print, I would love for them to release it.
That's my predictions. Hopefully they will come true in due time.

 Re: Other Tromasterpieces
I agree with most of Bjarni's suggestions, though some seem unlikely.
I think it'd be pretty cool if they re-released Mother's Day and When Nature Calls together, with all the old extras, some new ones would be welcome but I'm not naive, and also I'd love to see anything else of Charles Kaufman's (it doesn't seem like that guy who owns Jakarta is doing anything with it...).
For some reason, I LOVE Girls School Screamers. It's not a very good film - in fact, it's the sort of Troma film they'd lease out to Brentwood for those Toxie's Triple Terror sets, but there's something special about it. I find it ethereal and calming. I think it's cause the first time I watched it I was in that state of consciousness between awake and asleep. In fact, I feel the same way about Bloodspell.
I love Frostbiter as well. I'd love to see an extra - any extra- explain it's history. It was clearly shot in the late eighties, after 1987 if the EVIL DEAD 2 poster is any indication. Was all that music added in 1996 when Troma picked it up and released it? Or was it there before? Frostbiter is a fun movie. It was naive of Tom Chaney to think that by ripping off Evil Dead/Evil Dead II and doing it EVEN sillier would give him the same exposure and success that it gave Sam Raimi (especially without all the wacky camera stuff, which is half those films success), but in the end it just comes off as a really fun tribute. Also, did Bruce Campbell EARN that special thanks? Or was it just "Thanks, you're really entertaining". I WANT TO KNOW!
